Front cover research

This magazine is the sort of theme and style that i am looking at using for my project. I feel that the text/logo of the magazine really fits it well with the theme which is disco/dance and the image is very clear and relates with the theme well. The image takes up around 3/4 of the page because it makes the magazine stand out and it helps give the reader a better understanding of what the magazine will be about.
The text that has been used really stands out because of its style/font and because of the colour choice. The black background allows the red and white font to really stand out and look really good. The girl has her eyes shut with her headphones on showing a rebellious attitude and that she is in her "zone".
The whole structure of the text is simple and appealing and allows the reader to read from top to bottom  with ease. Finally i feel that the language used is more accessible/easier to read for the younger generation because it uses slang in which they would understand.
